
<p><strong>New Delhi: </strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ahead of Russian President Vladmir Putin’s visit, the Russian Foreign Affairs Minister Sergey Lavrov will be visiting India on a two day visit between December 5 and 6, reported ANI. The Minister will be participating in the 2+2 ministerial dialogue between the two nations. </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Ministry of External Affairs in a statement said that Russian Foreign Affairs Minister Sergey Lavorv will be visiting India on December 5 and 6. The Minister will meet the External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and participate in the 2+2 Ministerial Dialogue between the two nations. </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">MEA spokesperson Arindam Bagchi had earlier said that the agenda for the two plus two format dialogue between the two nations will cover “political and defence issues of mutual interest.” The two plus two Ministerial Dialogue is scheduled for December 6. </span></p> <p><strong>ALSO READ: <a title="Incidence Of Covid Infection Second Highest Among Children Under 5, Say South African Experts" href="https://ift.tt/3pk68EQ" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Incidence Of Covid Infection Second Highest Among Children Under 5, Say South African Experts</a></strong></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As reported by ANI Russian Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov said that Russia and India will sign 10 bilateral agreements in several area including semi-confidential areas also following the talks between Modi and Putin.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">From the Indian side, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh would be the representatives while Russian representatives attending the dialogue will be Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Defence Minister Sergey Shoigu. </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Vladmir Putin will be arriving in India on December 6 for the annual-India Russia Summit. </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The summit will be the first face to face meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Putin after the meeting on the sidelines of BRICS that had happened in Brasilia in November 2019. </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The last India-Russia summit that took place was in 2019 when PM Narendra Modi visited Vladivostok city in Russia.</span></p>
