Pentagon Reopens After Brief Lockdown Due To Multiple Gunshots Near Metro Station


<p><strong>Washington: </strong>The Pentagon in the United States was put under a temporary lockdown after multiple gunshots were heard near the Transit Center on Tuesday. Corridor 2 and the Metro entrance remains closed. It is still an active crime scene. We request that everyone stay away from the Metro rail entrance and bus platform area. Transportation at the Pentagon is diverted to Pentagon City,&rdquo; Pentagon Force Protection Agency posted on the micro-blogging platform.</p>
