Bollywood actor Irfan Khan is undergoing treatment in ICU

Bollywood actor Irfan Khan is undergoing treatment in the ICU of Kokilabin Hospital in Mumbai.

It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post. The hospital also refused to give any details other than that he was admitted to the ICU only because of his ill health.

None of Irfan's relatives have formally refused to speak during the meeting.

A source close to the matter said on condition of anonymity that he was kept in the ICU due to his deteriorating condition.

Irfan Khan, 54, had gone to London for treatment for a neuro-endocrine tumor. He returned to Mumbai last year after completing his treatment.

According to the media, Irfan's health often deteriorated during the shooting of his film 'English Medium'.

In this case, the entire unit had to stop shooting several times. When Irfan felt better, the shot was taken.

Recently, Irfan Khan's mother Saeeda Begum passed away in Jaipur, Rajasthan. He could not attend his mother's funeral due to a nationwide lockdown. He reportedly attended his mother's last rites via video call.

In 2018, when Irfan found out that he was suffering from this disease, Irfan Khan himself told his fans about it.

"Suddenly something happens in life that takes you further," he tweeted. The last few years of my life have been like this. I have a disease called neuroendocrine tumor. But the love and strength of the people around me has given me hope.

Irfan Khan went to London for treatment as soon as he came to know about the disease. Irfan returned to India in March 2019 after living there for almost a year.
